Rosalia Biundo (1885) and Ciro Palazzalo

Rosalia Biundo was born around 1885 in Cinisi to Salvatore Biundo and Caterina (Rosalia) Ferrante, as shown below.

There were a couple different records for Rosalia Biundo born to Salvatore Biundo and Caterina Ferrante. The first image below is of 1883, but I think that Rosalia did not live. In the second one I can’t see they year, but I think it was 1884 or 1885.

She was the niece of Giuseppe Biundo who immigrated to New Orleans, as her father, Salvatore Biundo, was his brother. And she was first cousin to Joe Biundo.

Chicago

According to the 1920 census record, “Rose” (age 35) had immigrated to the United States and was living at 509 South State Street in Chicago, along with her husband Ciro Palazzalo, and their daughter, Genevieve (age 4 months? I think her name was Giacoma “Genevieve). It says that she had immigrated in 1917.

Also living with at the same address was her older sister Giacoma (listed as Genevieve, 43 years old), husband (Sam, age 49) and their children (Rose age 12, Frank age 9, Mary age 8, Joseph age 6, and Cecilia age 1 and a half).

Children:

Maria Palazzalo (1906)
Giacoma Palazzalo (1919) married Matteo Vitale
Rosalia Palazzalo (1921) married Antonino Tocco
Vincenza Palazzalo (1922)
